- That Corned beef and cabbage dish has nothing to do with corn! Instead, it’s a reference to the large grains of salt that were historically used to cure meats, which were also known as “corns.”

- St. Patrick's Day is all about the green! It's estimated that Americans will spend approximately $5.9 billion for today's celebrations! Now that's a pot of gold!
