Frankie Avalon at the Lancaster Performing Arts Center
Frankie Avalon’s music and acting career spans more than 50 years, from his classic beach party movies with Annette Funicello, through a series of variety shows during the golden age of television, to his present day personal appearances. The Teen Angel character in the musical Grease was modeled on Frankie Avalon, and he starred in that same role in the 1978 hit movie version, performing a stunning rendition of “Beauty School Dropout”.
With dozens of hit songs from the late 50s and early 60s, Frankie Avalon dominated the charts for years, with number one favorites including “Why” and “Venus”. One of the Teen Idols of the 50s, Avalon continues to entertain audiences worldwide, an icon in the history of American rock and roll music. Don’t miss this legend of stage and screen at the Lancaster Performing Arts Center.

Chris Perondi's Stunt Dog Experience at the LPAC
Famed trainer Chris Perondi and his cast of rescue canines return to LPAC to thrill audiences of all ages with the high-energy and high-flying excitement of these incredible stunts. The entire family will be delighted as these remarkable pooches flawlessly perform amazing tricks, big-air stunts, comedy antics, dance routines and incredible athletic feats in the most entertaining show of its kind!
These astonishing animals have been featured on the Late Show with David Letterman, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Queen Latifah Show and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Be a part of the audience interaction and participation when the Stunt Dog Experience 2018 enlivens the stage at the Lancaster Performing Arts Center.
