A Couple Facts about Today:

 

- Although it was originally meant to celebrate George Washington's birthday, it's now also viewed as an opportunity to celebrate all presidents, present and past.
- Despite being a federal holiday, states are free to call it whatever they wish and decide whether they want to observe it or not.
- Wonder where the apostrophe really goes? If you've seen it before the "s" (President's) or after the "s" (Presidents'), they're both right! It just depends on whether you're celebrating George Washington alone or if you're celebrating ALL of them.
