Rita Rudner at the LPAC
Rita Rudner has been entertaining audiences for nearly 30 years with her trademark brand of neurotic comedy featuring her concise and clever one-liners. With her 14 year run in Las Vegas, Rudner has established the record for the longest-running solo comedy show in the history of the city, with over 2,000 performances and counting. Her career took off in 1988, when she became a regular on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. Rudner’s HBO specials, including Born to Be Mild and Married Without Children, helped establish her as one of the premiere female comics to emerge from the comedy boom of the 1980s. The nine-time Las Vegas Comedian of the Year winner, with her wide eyes, coy smile and little-girl voice, Rita Rudner brings her sublime, but supremely hilarious comedy to the Lancaster Performing Arts Center.
