Join the Antelope Valley Audubon Society(AVAS) and Interpretive Center staff for a family-friendly presentation on everyone’s October favorite – OWLS!
After the presentation will be a hands-on an owl-pellet dissection activity and craft, led by AVAS President, Carol Collins.
Later in the afternoon, “Mad Scientist” and Director of the SAGE Planeterium, Jeremy Amarant, will send chills down your spine with this vibrant and informative presentation of science and astronomy. Children and adults alike will be dazzled by screaming spoons, shivering quarters, wandering water, and more! The presentation is appropriate for all ages, so bring your “little scientist” or just tap into your own “inner scientist” for this hands-on experience.
